Madeleine's Room

I painted Madeleine's room about the second week of December. Gradually we got her crib and other things and this is her room finished. I put a bunch of wall stickers up that I bought before Madeleine was even born so it was abput time. All that is missing is the pink curtain that Grandma Wendy is altering for us. In this last picture in the corner are pillows that Madeleine loves to play in.  I had fun painting. I am really proud of it.

You know you need a break when....

You know you need a break when you get mad at your husband for cutting his toenails.

SO you think "WHAT?" Yeah I wasn't taking time for myself to even cut my toenails so when I saw that Arthur was cutting his I thought, "Why does he get to cut his?" 
Part of adjusting to being a new mom, is learning to take care of yourself at the same time you are trying to take care of a little one. Sometimes you just have to stop caring about how the house looks or thinking your child has to be super clean so that you can do what you got to do for yourself.

To those who are on pins and needles yes I do cut my toenails now.
